Welcome to the first video blog (vlog) entry for Game Knight Reviews! On Thursday I had a chance to sit down to chat with Cameron Crawford of Petrie’s Family Games, a game store that caters to more than just roleplayers in the Colorado Springs area. I’m hoping that this is the first of numerous video entries I’ll be creating in future days, so let me know if it’s something you want more of.
It’s obvious that Cameron is excited about all aspects of the gaming hobby – from traditional boardgames and family-oriented activities to more complex board games, collectible-card games, and RPGs. Across the board, the store hosts many unique events, including a new traditional card game night and chess night, which definitely hits a very different audience than your usual game store. I’ve been in numerous times looking for games to play with my two kids and puzzles for my puzzle-crazy youngest daughter and they always have something new to check out – from kid stuff to unique board games I’ve never seen before and the usual suspects as far as RPGs and CCGs go.
So here’s the video over at YouTube – check it out!
You can find Petrie’s here:

If you’re ever in the Colorado Springs area, be sure to drop by Petrie’s Family Games and take a look around!
Thanks for watching the first episode of our video entries and please let me know what you think – it’s a work in progress and I hope it will only get better over time!
