Though the world didn’t come to an end on December 21st, the Christmas holiday will soon be upon us, followed shortly by New Years’ Eve and Day… It always seems like a marathon sprint to the last day of the year while dodging the holiday elves. :)
Whether you feel like the Grinch (like myself), Santa Claus, or your favorite holiday character, I hope you enjoy this time with family and friends. Hug your kids (whether furry, four-legged creatures or more traditional varieties). Stay safe and warm. And have fun. Maybe you can even fit in some gaming!
And if you fall on the Grinch side of the equation, just know it will be over soon and we can return to our regularly scheduled New Year in a few weeks. :)
Regular posts will resume here on Wednesday, though I have no idea what strange ideas the Gassy Gnoll has cooked up. More of the Midgard Campaign Setting review is forthcoming. And I hope to get some more links posts and maybe even a dungeon map pulled together over the next few days.
But for now, I’m off to play Daddy for a few days and enjoy time with my girls. (By the way, if you haven’t seen Rise of the Guardians yet, it was a fun holiday-themed animated flick with elves that reminded me quite a bit of the minions from Despicable Me. Definite troublemakers who may have to find their way somehow into a future campaign!)
Thank you all for being regular (or irregular readers) and may your holidays be bright and full of cheer.
Good gaming to all and to all a good knight!
